Arts, Culture & Entertainment

With nearly 200 years of history, the Appalachian culture of Habersham County is well preserved. Spanning the decades, the early years are depicted in Habersham’s historic Museums.

While staying in Habersham, less than a 30-minute drive will get you to the
Currahee Military Museum in Toccoa or Babyland General Hospital in White County where Cabbage Patch babies are born.

In 2011 Habersham County received the
Camera Ready Community designation.  Since then, Habersham has been the home for several movies including Wanderlust with Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd.  Film companies looking for information on filming and permitting in Habersham County can find this information readily available on CameraReady.Georgia.org.  Please visit that website.  If additional information is needed, call the Chamber at 1-800-835-2559.
