The Habersham Veterans Wall of Honor is run by a committee of 8 (3 being original members); the Chairman is Larry Whitfield, and the Vice Chairman is Jack Broome.
In the past, Grant Reeves Post 7720 has held two annual ceremonies at the Wall. Beginning September 2018, Post 7720 will hold three annual ceremonies: Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, and a (new) 911 Candlelight Service.
To place a name on the Wall, a copy of an Honorable discharge (DD214) needs to be delivered to Larry Whitfield. (Contact info is below.)
There are currently 3 Walls in place with a fourth scheduled for Veterans Day (2018.) The Wall is currently having the names engraved, and names are already being gathered for a fifth Wall.
