What to Do

Habersham Agritourism

If you’ve ever wondered where your food comes from or you’re hungry for a natural food-filled adventure, look no further than Habersham County’s local farms, orchards, apiaries and farm markets!

Farmer’s Markets & Locally Grown Food

Habersham’s farmer’s markets offer a wide variety of locally grown veggies and organic animal products.
Here, you can meet local farmers and learn about the work and care that go into each piece of produce.

Wineries

Habersham County is the starting point for the Georgia Wine Highway. The grapes our vineyards produce make award-winning wines, which are gaining national recognition and fueling the emergence of North Georgia as a prominent wine region.

Get lost in a field of stalks, either the full deal or the mini-maze for those who want a quicker visit. Once you’re done with the maze, go on a hayride or play with farm animals in the petting zoo. Practice your aim with farm skee-ball, slide down the farm slide, or ride the pumpkin train. These festivities are only available in the fall but are worth the wait!

Jaemor Farms Pumpkin Patch
Plan your trip in late September to go to one of the largest pumpkin patches in Georgia. With more than 80 acres of pumpkins to choose from, you’re bound to find the perfect pumpkin to make a jack-o-lantern. Spice up your pumpkin pie recipe with pumpkins in a variety of colors and sizes.

North Georgia Wildlife Park & Zoo

This working zoo provides breeding for endangered species and livestock and is claimed to hold the largest diversity of livestock on the East Coast. The zoo also has exhibits of exotic animals from all over the world. After your visit, pick out a stuffed version of your favorite animal in the gift shop to take home with you.
